![]() I was so displeased with whoever I spoke to on the phone and I would never wish anyone to get fired but this "manager" needs retraining on the menu and how to deal with customer service if he is going to be answering the phone. That is like buying a tv for $599.99 but getting just a box. They should have refunded us those items or at least tried to fix the mistake. The "manager" had said that he could refund her meal but not the whole thing when they messed up and didn't even give us all of our food!! The only thing that was fine was my fiancé's food. They would not serve 5 pieces of shrimp with a potato and some Brussels sprouts for $22.99. One of the managers said that linguini doesn't come with it because it's either you can get the pasta or you can get 2 vegetables. I will post what the menu says below but we paid $22.99 for 5 pieces of shrimp. She was choking for about 2 minutes until this was dislodged from her throat. In one picture you will see a small baggie from what was collected from my daughters throat. I am DISGUSTED by the way this restaurant handled their mistakes. Just went to Lefty's in Barnegat NJ tonight. God bless and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else! I hope people see the way you had responded and I already know some people who did and told me they will never eat at this establishment again. That was all I wanted and maybe I would have changed my review or updated it to something better if the situation was handled better, but instead you want to bad mouth me as a mother. The correct thing to do with a customer who is RIGHTFULLY upset is to just apologize and say you will make sure your staff keeps a better eye on these things. I hope your kitchen isn't as dirty and the words that come out of your mouth. To say that "it was a pretty big bone a mother would have seen" is so foul. As a business owner myself, I would have never spoken to a customer the way you did. I gave you a couple days to delete or change your harmful words but you did not. I can not believe how you had answered my review. ![]() Since I can't reply to your answer on my review I will just write an update. It will remain on our long list of place to try again. My salad had more moisture than the sandwich and once you you were at the ends, it was like cement!! My husband was 3/4 through his sandwich once we finally received our drinks!! We did get the bill and payment quickly!!! We feel this place has potential and would like to try again some other time. My sandwich was dryer than the Sahara desert. My husband said his sandwich was ok (dry), coleslaw same complaint, dry. Server came around for food order and my husband got the chicken caprese sandwich and I got the salmon blt, we also ordered another round of beers. Thank God we ordered our app when the server just asked for drinks because it took some time to take our app order! For app, we had the naked mango jalapeño wings and they were delicious, the sauce was great and not spicy at all. Lots of apps, sandwiches and entrees to choose from. To the left is the tavern and to the right is the dining room.
